The Holidays are HERE!  I love the holiday season…it all kicks off with Thanksgiving and that’s right around the corner.  I’m celebrating even more this year because my college freshman is coming home!  I haven’t seen her since August and I just can’t wait to have her back home.  I’m baking more, cleaning more and have a perma-smile on my face.  Life is good.

As I’ve been planning Holiday meals, I’ve been really surprised how many recipes are enhanced by essential oils.  The concentration of natural flavor adds a depth to recipes like nothing else. Here are a few ways to use essential oils in your holiday recipes.

Holiday Recipes with Essential Oils

1. The Ultimate Gravy Recipe

7. Southern Cornbread Dressing

   I have my own not-so-secret Gluten-Free Sausage Stuffing recipe,but I might be adding this as a second side dish. After all, you can never have too many carbs in a holiday meal and this Southern Cornbread Dressing recipe is making my mouth water.

8. Sweet Potato Casserole

   Looking for a great side dish to bring to Thanksgiving dinner this year?  Look no further.  This Sweet Potato Casserole uses Lemon and Cinnamon essential oils along with maple syrup to push the flavor-o-meter straight up to 15.
